I’m a highly motivated professional, who works to the highest standards possible.

My first interest in photography came when I was employed and trained as a Draughtsman, planner and photographer at Fletcher Challenge Forest. Time in this position set the groundwork for an artistic future and especially photography. My initial experience was developed using two camera formats. The first being a 35mm film format which I used for general photography including promotional, corporate safety programmes, special events, portraits and sports events.

The second was medium format 70mm film. This was used for aerial photography for forestry mapping.

I have covered many weddings, sports events and functions using 35mm film prior to making the transition to Digital.

Vandi Photography uses HIGH END Canon R5 and Canon 5DM4 cameras combined with Canon L Series lenses covering from a wide angle 11mm right up to a 800mm telephoto along with a DJI 20MP Drone. Vandi Photography also has both indoor and outdoor lighting systems to create the perfect lighting situation to suit the subject being photographed.
